Our Story

On June 2nd in Nashville, our paths unexpectedly crossed—me visiting for a bachelorette trip, and Mario living there at the time. A few shy glances and a little encouragement from the bride-to-be brought us together. He introduced himself so formally that I couldn’t help but smile. After a dance and some easy conversation, it felt as if we’d known each other far longer than just a few minutes.

The connection was immediate, gentle, and unmistakably special. Somewhere along the way, Mario confidently announced I would be his wife. I smiled, thinking he was ambitious… and somehow, ambition met reality.

And now we get to turn a very confident prediction into a very happy reality—with all of you there to celebrate

Travel and Accommodations

Getting to El Salvador:

For guests traveling from outside the United States, the main airport is El Salvador International Airport (SAL), also known as Monseñor Óscar Arnulfo Romero International Airport. The airport is about 45 minutes from San Salvador and 1 hour 45 minutes from Lake Coatepeque, where our venue is located. Taxis, ride-share services, private drivers, and rental cars are available at the airport. We will be providing transportation to and from the airport please go to the FAQ portion of the website to find out more about this option

Where to Stay

Our wedding will take place at the beautiful Cardedeu Hotel, located directly on Lake Coatepeque. Staying at the venue or nearby is highly recommended so you can enjoy the lake and avoid long travel on the wedding day. Rooms book quickly, so we suggest reserving early. The best way to reserve rooms is to contact Ricardo Ayala via text message in WhatsApp, his number is +50378615545. He will make accommodations for you and how many rooms you will need along with applying the blocked booking discount. You may need to provide or make him aware that you are booking for the Janelle and Mario wedding. There are several boutique hotels, small resorts, and lake houses available around Coatepeque. Airbnb and Vrbo also offer villas with direct lake access. If you decide to stay in a airbnb or villas there is uber and taxis around the lake that will be a short at most five minute drive to the venue. Option to stay

Staying in San Salvador: If you prefer staying in the capital before
or after the wedding, the safest and most convenient areas
are Escalón, San Benito, and Santa Elena.
These neighborhoods offer modern hotels, great restaurants,
and easy transportation.

"No. However, the ceremony at the church is only 1.5 miles far away from the Hotel Cardedeu at Coatepeque lake where the receptcion is going to be.

Ceremony will take place indoors at the church Templo Santisima Trinidad and reception will be outdoors with a small indoor area to lounge in. / La ceremonia se llevará a cabo en el interior de la iglesia Templo Santísima Trinidad y la recepción será al aire libre con una pequeña área interior para descansar.

Is there shuttle from the airport to the venue? / ¿Hay transporte desde el aeropuerto hasta el lugar del evento? +

If you are wanting to use the shuttle we have reserved please respond to the text recieved for the wedding website with your flight time and date for scheduled pick up. We are hoping to plan three times for pick up and drop off per day for people between the dates of February 13- February 15. If we see that other dates or times are more favored we will accommodate to what is being requested.
